kateri after prepositions
Level B1 · Unit 15: Stereotypes · Lesson 3: The house I grew up in: kateri, kjer, kar
After a preposition, use kateri. It declines like an adjective, taking its gender and number from the noun and its case from the preposition:
| Noun | Example | English |
|---|---|---|
| hiša (f) | hiša, v kateri živim | the house I live in |
| deklica (f) | deklica, s katero stojiš | the girl you're standing with |
| prijatelj (m) | prijatelj, s katerim delam | the friend I work with |
| mesto (n) | mesto, iz katerega prihajam | the town I come from |
| kraji (pl.) | kraji, o katerih govoriš | the places you're talking about |
