Reflexive verbs with se
Level A1 · Unit 3: Family and friends · Lesson 4: My week
Some verbs come with se ("oneself"): učiti se (to study), umiti se (to wash), sprehajati se (to go for a walk). Se stays the same for every person:
- učim se, učiš se, uči se, učimo se…
Like sem, the little word se likes second place in the sentence:
- Učim se. I'm studying. (verb first, se second)
- Zvečer se učim. In the evening I study.
- Potem se umijem. Then I wash.
