The locative singular
Level A2 · Unit 7: Where we live · Lesson 2: Where? The locative
- Masculine and neuter: add -u: hotel → v hotelu, mesto → v mestu
- Feminine: -a → -i: hiša → v hiši, Ljubljana → v Ljubljani
Adjectives take -em (masculine and neuter) or -i (feminine):
