Meals and the accusative

The three meals are zajtrk (breakfast), kosilo (lunch, the main meal, often around 1–3 pm) and večerja (dinner). To say what you have:
- Za zajtrk jem jogurt. For breakfast I have yogurt.
- Za kosilo imamo juho in ribo. For lunch we're having soup and fish.
Food words are objects here, so they're in the accusative: juha → juho, riba → ribo, and for animals piščanec → piščanca.
