Possessive adjectives
Level A1 · Unit 4: Arrival and hotel · Lesson 5: Whose? Ana's and Peter's
- Women's names and other words in -a add -in: Ana → Anin, mama → mamin.
- Men's names and other masculine words add -ov, or -ev after c, č, š, ž, j: Peter → Petrov, Marko → Markov, Matej → Matejev, oče → očetov.
Then the ending agrees with the owned thing, like any adjective:
