The future tense
Level A2 · Unit 11: Travel · Lesson 3: What will you do? The future
bom, boš, bo… + the l-participle. The participle agrees with the subject, just as in the past:
- Jutri bom delal. I'll work tomorrow. (a man) · Jutri bom delala. (a woman)
- Ana bo prišla ob osmih. Ana will come at eight.
- Kaj boste počeli? What will you do? · Bomo videli. We'll see.
For "to be", use bom on its own: Jutri bom doma. Bo lepo vreme?
